The Eagles found their third quarterback on Sunday by claiming Stephen Morris off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars. Morris will fill the 53d spot on the roster and take the role that coach Chip Kelly did not think Tim Tebow was good enough to occupy.
Morris, 23, was an undrafted rookie from Miami in 2014. He spent last season on the Jaguars' practice squad. Morris continued with the Jaguars during the summer. He went 23 of 42 for 242 yards and one touchdown in three preseason games. He also rushed for a touchdown.
