Eagles draft takeaways: Roseman did his job to bolster the offense — now it’s on Wentz and Pederson - The Athletic
1. Roseman has positioned Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz for success. I don’t think the Eagles entered this draft intending to spend their first three picks and four of five overall on the offensive side of the ball, but that’s what happened. In addition to adding Dillard, Sanders and Arcega-Whiteside in the draft, they previously made trades for Jordan Howard and DeSean Jackson. Roseman and his staff did a tremendous job of bolstering the offense and addressing specific issues from last year like a lack of talent in the backfield and no vertical threat on the outside.
