Ahead of the Eagles’ second training camp practice, the team announced that they had signed WR Griffin Hebert and waived OT Gottlieb Ayedze from the Non-Football Injury list.
Hebert is a tight end/wide receiver hybrid, and first signed with the Eagles back in December 2023 when he joined the practice squad. He signed a futures contract with the team in January, but was released at the end of April following the draft. The WR was invited back to Philly for a tryout during minicamp, but left without a new offer.
He played five years for Louisiana Tech, and was used a wide receiver his first four seasons, before being named a tight end his last year.
