This is a team being built "the right way," as head coach Doug Pederson likes to say. This is not a quick-fix approach for a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback and several young players in key positions, and the Eagles have played at times in the last five games (four of them losses) like they've got young players in key positions, players who have not yet learned the way to "close" games the right way.
In many ways, the Eagles are now what the Oakland Raiders were in 2014 when they drafted quarterback Derek Carr and he started all 16 games in a 3-13 season.
