You know about the rivalry. You know about the rookie quarterbacks. And you know that Dallas is rolling with five straight wins led by an elite offensive attack. You know the stakes at play in the NFC East. The stage is set on Sunday night for a classic Eagles-Cowboys game.
What’s interesting about Sunday night’s game, and not discussed a whole lot this week, is the success the Eagles have had at Dallas (Arlington, Texas, specifically) the last three seasons. Chip Kelly was the head coach here, yes, and the cast of characters has changed significantly for both teams, but the essence is this: The Eagles are looking for their first four-game winning streak at Dallas since 1988-91 when Buddy Ryan ruled a lousy Cowboys team in transition.
