When Philadelphia Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount scored the game’s first touchdown last week, he may have taken things a bit too far. He bulldozed his way through the defensive line and reached the ball over the goal line. In a matter of seconds, the play was reviewed and the touchdown was called back.
On the very next play, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson gave the ball right back to Blount. Again, Blount powered his way through the goal line as four New York Giants defenders struggled to take him down.
