Jordan Hicks left a game early for the third time this season, and this one might be more concerning than the previous two.
The Eagles linebacker was carted off the field Monday night against the Washington Redskins with a right ankle injury after the second play of the game. Hicks needed to be carried off the field and then was evaluated by the medical staff before a cart came to the take him to the locker room. He gave the crowd a thumbs up as he left, but he was soon declared out for the game.
Hicks was questionable with a calf injury that caused him to leave the Eagles’ Week 6 game against Carolina early.
