According to an official release, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent offensive lineman Jared Wheeler. He has experience at offensive guard and center.
This report hardly comes as a surprise. Wheeler's agent, Brett Tessler, announced on Saturday evening that his client would be signing with Philadelphia pending a physical. Wheeler presumably worked out for the Eagles on Monday and passed his physical, which led to an official signing.
"Wheeler, 24, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2014 out of the University of Miami by the Carolina Panthers.
