Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff was charged with possession of an unlicensed 9mm handgun that contained six hollow-point bullets after a traffic stop for speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge on Tuesday, according to court documents. He also was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Huff, 25, was issued two warrants, for unlawful possession of a weapon and prohibited weapons/devices for hollow-point bullets. He was issued a New Jersey traffic summons for DUI, speeding, and obstructed view because of dark tinted windows. He was also issued a criminal summons for marijuana under 50 grams.
"We are aware of the incident today involving Josh Huff," the Eagles said in a statement shortly after the incident.
