The Philadelphia Eagles filled out their practice squad on Monday morning by re-signing veteran cornerback De’Vante Bausby, according to an official announcement from the team.
The Eagles had a vacancy after cutting Winston Craig from the practice squad late last week.
Bausby, who turns 26 in January, originally joined the Eagles’ practice squad early during their 2017 campaign. He spent the entire Super Bowl season with the team.
Heading into 2018, it looked like Bausby was seriously going to challenge for a roster spot. Bausby really excelled in spring practices and began training camp by splitting first team nickel cornerback reps with Sidney Jones.
