Eagles Fall To Washington, 23-20

As has been the case multiple times this season, this game was a tale of two halves. After being held scoreless in the first half, the Eagles re-emerged for the final 30 minutes with a new sense of determination. Down by 13 points, the team knew the game was within reach and put up 20 points in the final two quarters. However, the Eagles were unable to come away with the win after a 4-yard touchdown reception by receiver Pierre Garcon with just 26 seconds left resulted in a 23-20 defeat.

The Eagles lost a number of players at the start of the game including Byron Maxwell (groin), Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), Brandon Bair (groin) and Jason Peters (quadriceps).
