1. How will the Eagles offense do?
Jeff McLane: The Falcons don’t have a very good defense, but they’re not as poor as some have perceived. Vic Beasley (7-1/2 sacks) is an explosive defensive end. Deion Jones (51 tackles, 2 interceptions, four passes defense) is a solid middle linebacker. Desmond Trufant is an above-average cornerback. The Falcons have individual talent, but they can’t seem to get their act together as a unit. It hasn’t mattered for the most part because the offense has been so productive. But the Eagles should be able to move the ball and put up points.
