Eagles’ DT depth takes another hit with Timmy Jernigan injured

Suddenly, it feels like 2018 all over again. The Philadelphia Eagles made it out of Week One healthy to start off the 2019 NFL Season. Well, for the most part, at least. Their starting defensive tackle Malik Jackson was the only new player added to the injury report after dealing with a foot injury.

Unfortunately, he was carted off of the field late in the game and had multiple tests run on his foot the following Monday. That’s when the Eagles received word that Jackson’s injury was significant enough to put him on the Injured Reserve and end his debut season very early.
