Through four weeks of the regular season, the Philadelphia Eagles are not where anyone thought they would be at this point of the year. 1-3 was neither the record we thought the Eagles would have, nor they one I think they deserve. The offense has struggled, but the one positive takeaway I have seen through the first four weeks is the the Philadelphia Eagles defense is looking solid.

The bane of the Philadelphia Eagles for years has been the back end of the defense. Since all-time great Brian Dawkins left, the Eagles have been unable to replace his production and skill at the safety position.
