WASHINGTON tight end Jordan Reed has been diagnosed with a concussion and hasn't practiced this week, though Redskins coach Jay Gruden did not rule Reed out Thursday for this weekend's game.
Reed's status could be a pretty big deal. Reed is Washington's leading receiver, with 33 catches for 316 yards and two touchdowns. The last time the teams met, Dec. 16 at the Linc, he caught nine passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns, in a 38-24 Washington victory.
"He's a big part of their offense, but I'm sure they're not going to change everything they do if he doesn't play," defensive end Connor Barwin said.
