VINNY CURRY still doesn't want to declare victory.
"I'll let you know next week, after the first game," Curry said Thursday, when asked how it feels to finally have an established role, as he prepares for his fifth season as a defensive end with the Eagles, his first under the terms of the five-year, $47.25 million contract he signed early in the offseason.
But it feels different, right?
"Once we get that first preseason game under my belt, we can answer that question," Curry said.
Curry doesn't want to jinx himself. Since bounding into NovaCare in April 2012 as a second-round pick, unable to believe his luck in being drafted by the team he grew up rooting for in Neptune.
