The Philadelphia Eagles claimed defensive back Andre Chachere off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts, according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero.
Chachere (pronounced SASH - ER - RAY) fills one of the two remaining roster spots the Eagles opened up earlier on Thursday.
At first glance, Chachere might not seem like the most exciting addition. He’s a 25-year-old who’s yet to play in a regular season game after originally entering the league as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2018. Here’s a look at the many transactions he’s been involved in:

Upon closer inspection, however, Chachere seems like he might be a savvy pickup.
