The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced two roster moves on Tuesday afternoon: 1) the team claimed tight end Caleb Wilson off waivers and 2) the team placed starting right guard Brandon Brooks on the active/physically unable to perform list.
CALEB WILSON
Wilson was waived by Washington Football Team — Philly’s Week 1 opponent (hm) — on Monday. The 24-year-old has a notable connection to the Eagles in that he’s the son of former Philadelphia defensive line coach Chris Wilson. Doug Pederson hired the senior Wilson to his original coaching staff in 2016 and he remained with the team for three seasons.
