Eagles’ Chris Long is donating his entire season worth of game checks to education-based causes

After donating his first six game checks to fund scholarships in Charlottesville, Long announced he’s donating his remaining 10 game checks to “further his support of educational equity.”

It’s not often that you see an NFL player donate an entire year’s pay to charity. It’s unclear if it’s ever happened before. This is an awesome move by Long.

Long has made it clear that he doesn’t want to “stick to sports” and instead wants to use his platform to create positive change in the community. He’s putting his money where his mouth is.

The Eagles signed Long to a two-year, $4.
