Eagles' Chip Kelly has undergone a conversion experience

THERE IS a problem with the notion of Chip Kelly as some naively inflexible college boy wonder unwilling to adapt his process to the NFL level: The evidence doesn't support it. The most fascinating example has been the evolution of his philosophy regarding two-point conversions.

Remember Sept. 19, 2013? It was the second game of the Kelly era, a Thursday night tilt against his predecessor. Andy Reid's Chiefs jumped out to an early lead that the Eagles cut to 10-6 on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Jason Avant with 5 minutes remaining in the first quarter.
