The Philadelphia Eagles were set to hold their second and final public training camp practice at Lincoln Financial Field tonight. Due to a rainy forecast, however, the event has been cancelled.
Official statement from the team:
“Out of concern for the safety of the fans and the team, the Eagles have canceled tonight’s public practice at Lincoln Financial Field due to the inclement weather forecast as a result of Hurricane Henri. Ticketmaster will provide refunds for fans who purchased tickets. Tonight’s public practice served as a fundraiser for the Eagles Autism Foundation, where all of the proceeds from ticket sales would be invested in helping families with autism through innovative research projects and grants.
