The Philadelphia Eagles signed cornerback Chandon Sullivan back to their practice squad, according to an official announcement from the team.
The Eagles released Sullivan from their 53-man roster on Monday in order to promote Josh Hawkins from the practice squad. Hawkins, 25, is more NFL ready than the 22-year-old Sullivan.
Sullivan originally signed with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft. The Georgia State alumnus showed some potential in training camp and preseason, which led to him being offered a practice squad spot.
