The Eagles invested in their offensive line during the NFL Draft window, but the work doesn’t stop there. After it was announced on Monday that the Detroit Lions would be releasing a familiar face, Howie Roseman didn’t hang around.
Casey Tucker was an undrafted free agent who worked out for the Eagles during rookie minicamp last year and was offered a contract after impressing. Aside from a brief scrap with Shareef Miller, Tucker’s Summer was reasonably quiet and he was ultimately released before landing on Detroit’s practice squad.
The Lions released Tucker following the NFL Draft ahead of their UDFA haul announcement, leaving the Arizona State product without a team…until Howie called.
