Training Camp has been underway for less than 24-hours and already we have come COVID-related problems. On Wednesday morning, the Philadelphia Eagles announced that they have placed three players on the COVID-19/reserve list.
This is essentially a designation similar to contact tracing that the NFL implemented last year, meaning that they don’t necessarily have the virus, but may have been in contact with someone that has. For them to return to practice with their team, they must undergo the following:
- Submit a negative test within 24 hours of the first negative test
- A closer eye in case symptoms emerge
- Eight consecutive days of virus testing with a regular schedule after.
