Eagles, Andrew Adams reportedly agree to contract

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing free agent safety Andrew Adams to a one-year contract, according to a report from The Athletic’s Zach Berman.

Adams, 28, originally entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2016. He’s logged 32 career starts in 73 games played with the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Adams mostly played on special teams during the Bucs’ Super Bowl season last year, logging just 23 defensive snaps.

The Eagles previously showed interest in Adams during the 2018 season.
