The Eagles agreed to terms on a one-year deal with quarterback Matt McGloin on Monday, making the former Oakland Raider and Penn State standout the third quarterback on the Eagles roster.
McGloin, 27, spent the past four seasons with the Raiders, started seven regular-season games, and appeared in 13 overall. He has completed 161 of 277 passes for 1,868 yards, with 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
With Carson Wentz as the starter and Nick Foles entrenched as the No. 2 quarterback, McGloin must hope that the Eagles keep three quarterbacks if he’s going to be on the 53-man roster.
