After a strong start this spring, rookie DB Cooper DeJean has yet to take a snap in training camp after suffering a hamstring injury during an offseason workout. The Eagles traveled up to Foxborough for a joint practice with the Patriots this week, and as players started taking the field, DeJean was seen dressed for the first time since his injury.
The team officially activated DeJean from the Non-Football Injury list and he’ll start gradually working his way back onto the field. The rookie was limited in practice on Tuesday, and didn’t participate in team drills, but it’s still an encouraging step for a player that fans are excited to see.
