The Eagles activated cornerback Sidney Jones to the 53-man roster on Saturday, and the Eagles’ second-round pick is eligible to play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and in the postseason. He is expected to play against the Cowboys.
Jones tore his Achilles tendon during his University of Washington Pro Day in March, dropping him from the first round of April’s draft. The Eagles selected him in the second round without assurances that he would play this season. They kept him on the non-football injury list and brought him back to practice three weeks ago for the first time this season.
