Eagles-49ers snap counts analysis: A case for more Quez Watkins

Frustrating one for the Eagles on Sunday given all the missed opportunities. Now it’s time to analyze Philadelphia’s snap counts from their Week 2 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

OFFENSE

  • For the second straight week, DeVonta Smith led all Eagles skill players in snaps (49) and targets (7). Smith only had two receptions for 16 yards but Jalen Hurts underthrew him on multiple deep shots. Smith also drew two pass interference penalties.
  • Jalen Reagor saw the second most targets with five. He logged two receptions for a mere five yards, dropping his early season yards per reception mark down to 6.
