DeSean Jackson and the Eagles made things official on Friday, with the legendary wide receiver retiring from the NFL, and speaking to the media about his storied career. During his press conference, Jackson was asked about his time in Philly with Jalen Hurts and what he saw from the QB. Turns out, DJax has always been a big fan of the young quarterback.
“I was lobbying for Jalen Hurts back when we had Carson Wentz starting at that time. When everybody was like, ‘Why would we pick Jalen Hurts in the second round?’”
Jackson remembered one day at practice when Hurts was the backup, going against the starting defense.
