It was certainly a homecoming for DeSean Jackson when the Philadelphia Eagles decided to trade for the receiver this offseason, and during his introductory press conference he mentioned repeatedly how good it felt to be “home” and how he saw the team win a Super Bowl and wants to be a part of getting back to that stage.
After an abrupt departure years ago, it seems like there was no love lost between the wideout and Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, head coach Doug Pederson and GM Howie Roseman. Jackson mentioned that he and Howie had stayed in touch over the years, and Pederson shared a cute anecdote about he and Jackson exchanged words after their last meeting when he was with the Bucs.
