THERE IS NO question Dennis Kelly had the physical attributes to get to the NFL. But what's kept him there, despite numerous obstacles, is some good, old Chicago toughness.
At 6-8, 321 pounds, Kelly is the Swiss army knife for the Eagles' offensive line. A left tackle in college, Kelly, in his four seasons with the Eagles, has made two starts at left guard, four starts at right guard and, Sunday night, his eighth start at right tackle.
"Being humble enough to do whatever the coach wants us to do is a (common) trait of an offensive lineman," Kelly said.
