CHICAGO -- Somewhere during the course of reviewing the game film on Tuesday morning, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is going to find some teaching points for his players, some breakdowns that occured during the course of Monday night's 29-14 win over the Chicago Bears.
But those plays are going to be awfully difficult to find.
The Eagles gave up a couple of big passing plays early -- a 49-yarder to standout receiver Alshon Jeffrey that led to a touchdown, a 31-yard catch-and-run with Eddie Royal -- but otherwise the defense was stout, aggressive, tackled well and, most important got off the field on third downs (Chicago converted just 4 of 10 on third down and zero for one on fourth down -- in limiting the Bears to 284 total net yards and 18 first downs, allowing just seven points to the Chicago offense.
