Darius Slay is indeed signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being designated as a post-June 1 cut by the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter.
His one-year contract is said to be worth $10 million. Fully guaranteed.
Slay to the Steelers was first reported earlier this week but there was some pushback on that development being a done deal. Now we know he’s really leaving the team he spent the last five seasons with.
Neither the Eagles nor Slay seemed to close the door on a potential return to Philly when news of the post-June 1 cut was first reported.
