PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles have reaped the rewards over their minimal investment in acquiring D’Andre Swift in the draft day trade with the Detroit Lions.
The 24-year-old running back is already at a career-high in rushing yards ten games into his first season in Philadelphia with 690 yards after his 76-yard performance vs the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift made a strong case for being the Eagles’ best offensive player from the team’s Monday night 21-17 victory and hopefully, there was a lesson learned from his performance.
Now, a lot of Swift’s success rushing the ball has been tied to right guard Cam Jurgens being on the field.
