It was a bit of a surprise to see Daeshon Hall included in the five cuts the Philadelphia Eagles made on Sunday evening. Hall really shined in the preseason last year and there was thought the team was going to stash him away on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list to start the 2020 season.
It turns out that Hall reached PUP after all, though. The 25-year-old defensive end reverted to the Eagles’ reserve/PUP list after clearing waivers since he was waived with a failed physical designation. Recall that Hall suffered a torn ACL on the Eagles’ final 2019 regular season snap.
