In what can only be described as an ideal sequence of events for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, the door to the NFC East crown is slowly opening. The Eagles spent the bye week watching the Dallas Cowboys lose 28-14 to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football, but the bigger impact was the Washington Redskins getting trounced 38-14 at home against the Atlanta Falcons.
Making matters worse for the Redskins was a rash of injuries that gutted their receiving weapons and the interior of their offensive line.
