Connor Barwin's benefit concert was a big success

For the second year in a row, Connor Barwin's benefit concert was a big success.

This year, Barwin, along with his Make The World Better Foundation, raised a total of $300,000 towards revitalizing Smith Playground in South Philadelphia. The concert raised $150,000 and Barwin matched that figure with his own money to bring it up to the grand total. Last year, Barwin's concert raised a total of $170,000 towards the Ralph Brooks park revitalization project.

The concert was held at Union Transfer and featured The Suffers, Parquet Courts, Marian Hall, and Mac DeMarco.
