Chip says nothing changed on blocks, except for not missing them

Eagles coach Chip Kelly reiterated that the Eagles didn’t really change anything about their blocking schemes in looking completely transformed against the hapless Saints on Sunday, even though to the naked eye - and on Game Rewind - it sure seemed there was less complexity, more of a one-on-one, power-ahead approach.

“We just blocked better in the run game,” Kelly said the day after a 37-19 victory that moved the Birds to 2-3, with the 3-2, division-leading Giants on tap at the Linc next Monday night. Asked about straight-ahead blocking, Kelly said the Eagles “ran the ball outside more than in any game this year.
