As always, there were a bunch of roster changes this offseason, but one of the most-watched as we inch closer to the 2024 season, is Cam Jurgens moving over to center following Jason Kelce’s retirement. Jurgens spoke to reporters following one of the first training camp practices, drenched in sweat, and talked about moving back to his normal spot on the line.
“It’s the NFL, nothing’s easy, but I feel a lot more comfortable being back there (at center).”
Jurgens said that when he was lining up at guard last season, he wasn’t just thinking about his blocking, he was also going through every rep like he was the center, evaluating protections and what calls they would make.
