The Philadelphia Eagles were in desperate need of a speedy wideout this summer and boy, did they get one in rookie Bryce Treggs.
Treggs had a very encouraging NFL debut against the New York Giants Sunday, catching two balls for a total 69 yards. Though the Eagles ended up losing the game in heartbreaking fashion, it wasn’t Treggs who failed the team when he was called upon to make plays.
Philadelphia elevated Treggs to the active roster following the release of Josh Huff, who was arrested for possession of marijuana and a firearm loaded with hollow-point bullets last week.
