It was always easy to root for Bruce Arians. He was the kind of guy you could sit down with over a cold beverage or two and feel real comfortable. Like you were simply sharing good times with a friend, not talking to a football coach of a team you covered.
Or even if the conversation was over a plateful of pasta, which is what used to happen every Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon during the season at the weekly media luncheon in the old Pagano’s restaurant at 38th and Walnut. In those days, Temple didn’t hold its own such get-together.
