The secondary was the Philadelphia Eagles biggest weakness in 2014 and head coach Chip Kelly wasted no time revamping the team’s defensive backfield this offseason. After handing cornerback Byron Maxwell a enormous contract, signing defensive backs Walter Thurmond and E.J. Biggers as well as drafting three more cornerbacks, the team’s secondary is looking quite a bit different. But one familiar face remains, cornerback Brandon Boykin.
Since he was drafted by the Eagles’ Andy Reid led regime in 2012, Boykin has been one of the league’s top slot cornerbacks.
