Brandon Boykin just can't catch a break. It's been just one week since the former Eagles cornerback signed with the Chicago Bears and it already looks like his 2016 season is over. Boykin suffered a pectoral injury on the second days of Bears training camp and has been placed on the season-ending injured reserve list.
It's been a very tumultuous offseason for the 26-year-old. The Pittsburgh Steelers let Boykin walk in free agency earlier this year despite trading a fifth round pick to acquire him from Philadelphia in 2015. One Steelers coach claimed Boykin has a degenerative hip condition, though the cornerback denied the rumor.
