Brady ruling another embarrassment for Goodell

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - In addition to erasing the four-game suspension of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with his ruling Thursday morning, U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman also uncovered yet another reason for the nation's egg shortage.

It turns out NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's face is full of yolks again. With McDonald's about to go to an all-day breakfast and the NFL already having appealed Berman's ruling that freed Brady to play in New England's season opener Thursday against Pittsburgh, you can expect to be paying premium prices for eggs into the distant future.

Yolks aside, this decision should not have come as a surprise to anyone, especially when you sift through Berman's 40-page ruling that accuses the NFL's case against Brady as having "significant legal deficiencies.
