CARSON WENTZ said Friday he isn't worried about entrusting his well-being to rookie right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai Sunday at Washington.
"He looks good, and ready to go," Wentz said after the Eagles' final full practice of the week. "He doesn't seem like the kind who's going to be fazed by it all. He'll do his job."
Eagles coach Doug Pederson gave a strong endorsement when Pederson was asked Friday whether he's just going week-to-week with the rookie, or whether he is committed to Vaitai as a long-term solution during Lane Johnson's 10-game NFL PED suspension.
