It is well known that the Philadelphia Eagles‘ defense has been the weak spot of their team. For the second straight season in 2014, the defense ranked in the bottom five in the league.
Many have blamed some of the defensive players for the Eagles’ struggles. The best examples of the “scapegoats” have been Patrick Chung, Nate Allen, Cary Williams, and Bradley Fletcher. However, one name who has not taken a lot of heat is defensive coordinator Billy Davis.
This is surprising considering the Eagles have ranked 28th and 29th in defense the last two seasons.
