"Big V" Ready For His Chance

Lane Johnson leaves a sizeable absence for the Eagles to fill at right tackle. Through the first four games of his fourth season, Johnson had been the most consistent member of the Eagles’ offensive line and graded out as the best player up front according to Pro Football Focus.

Now it’s rookie fifth-round pick Halapoulivaati Vaitai’s job to step in and play, after he was named the starter by head coach Doug Pederson on Wednesday. After being inactive for the first four games of the season, the former TCU Horned Frog is ready for his chance.
