Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Beau Allen is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a report from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
It was apparent Allen wasn’t returning to the Eagles when Philadelphia reportedly signed veteran free agent Haloti Ngata on Wednesday. Shortly after that news broke, Allen posted a goodbye message to Philly.
The terms of Allen’s new deal have not yet been reported. The more money he gets, the better it is for the Eagles’ compensatory pick formula.
