Philadelphia Eagles third-year tight end Zach Ertz is eyeing a bigger role in the team’s uptempo offensive attack. Ertz has the talent to be a top tight end in the NFL but his struggles as a blocker have limited his snaps in Philadelphia. But following an offense in which he worked tirelessly to improve his blocking, Ertz is expecting a big jump in playing time in the upcoming season. It’s also clear that head coach Chip Kelly isn’t concerned about adding players with injury concerns, it could be due to the team’s focus on “reconditioning.
